Meaning of Junkook band members tattoo
Meaning behind BTS members Jimin and Jungkook’s tattoos
- Jungkook has the word ‘ARMY’ inked across his knuckles
- On his thumb, he has ‘0613’ which means June 13, the day BTS debuted
- Jimin, on the other hand, has ‘NEVERMIND’ tattooed on his right side
It is no surprise that BTS members Jimin and Jungkook are quite a heartthrob among their fans. The two singers make headlines for their fashion statements besides their high-pitched voices. Their voice range and powerful control over their vocals have made them one of the best singers in K-pop. They, along with their bandmates including RM, V, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, have become a hit in the western world too.
While the boyband has been taking out one record-breaking single at a time, other aspects of their lives are also grabbing attention. It so happens that besides colouring their hair, wearing jewellery, and having piercings, the bandmates also have tattoos. Unfortunately, only Jimin and Jungkook have tattoos while the rest are tattoo-free.
Jungkook has several tattoos on his body. The youngest member of BTS has several on his hand including the word ‘ARMY’ across his knuckles for the group’s fan base. He also has a ‘J’ over the ‘M’ of ‘ARMY’. The ‘A’ in the ‘ARMY’ is an upside-down ‘V’. If you look closely, all the initial letters of the members of the group add up. ‘V’ for V, ‘RM’ for RM, ‘Y’ for Yoongi (Suga), and the ‘J’ for Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin.
On the other hand, Jimin has a few tattoos that his fans have spotted from time to time. He has ‘NEVERMIND’ inked on his right side. He also has the number 13 on the inside of his wrist, which the BTS army thinks is a nod to when BTS debuted on June 13, 2013. It could also be his birthday, October 13. Besides this, Jimin has the words ‘YOUNG’ and ‘FOREVER’ on his elbows.
